The two comfortable chalets are situated close to the water's edge on the southern shore of Loch Creran with stunning views across the loch towards Appin with the hills of Morven beyond.
If you want to get away from the hustle and bustle of city life and take some time out to relax in beautiful scenic surroundings then this is the place to come. Open the patio doors and step out onto the timber decked balcony where you can see an abundance of wildlife, if you are lucky you will see otters on the shore only a few metres from the chalets.
Fox's Den has one room with a double bed and also a small room with bunk beds. The bunk room is ideally suited to children but is sometimes used by adults.
Otter's Holt has one room with a double zip and link bed that can be split into two singles if required and also a small room with a single bed.
The shower room has a W.C. and wash hand basin along with a heated towel rail.
The kitchen/living area has all the usual kitchen equipment but no dishwasher or washing machine. There is a 32" TV with integrated DVD player.

Explore the Area
The chalets are situated in the village of Barcaldine twelve miles from Oban on the west coast of Scotland. You can set off from the chalets on foot or on your bike and you will find miles of marked tracks where you can enjoy waking or cycling. The "Caledonia Way" (National Cycle Network Route 78) passes through the village. Only a twenty minute drive to Oban, widely known as the "Seafood Capital of Scotland" and also "The Gateway to the Isles", here you can arrange sailings to most of the Inner and Outer Hebrides with Calmac Ferries. In less than an hour you can be in Fort William at the foot of Britain's highest mountain, Ben Nevis, amongst some of the most beautiful mountain scenery that you will find anywhere in Scotland. Take a trip up Britain's only Mountain Gondola and enjoy a bite to eat or a drink at the Snow Goose Restaurant and bar situated at 2132 feet above sea level.
